Chemistries
Natrix technology is available in both Ion Exchange and Affinity Chemistries
Ion Exchange Chemistry
- Strong Anion Exchange Membranes (Q)
- High binding capacity for negatively-charged proteins and large biomolecules such as DNA, viruses and plasmids
- The Q chemistry is well suited to polishing applications
- Strong and Weak Cation Exchange Membranes (S and C)
- High binding capacities for positively-charged proteins, salts and metal ions
- The S and C chemistries are ideal for use in purification/primary capture of recombinant proteins
- Weak cation exchange membrane binds positively-charged proteins and antibodies and is very effective for use in antibody capture applications
Affinity
- Available in a variety of Affinity formulations
- Protein A: for the purification of antibodies
- IMAC-Ni Membranes: for the purification of His-tagged proteins
Functionalized (Aldehyde Chemistry)
- For custom derivatization by end users with their own proprietary ligands
